This policy explains what personal information Talent Network Kosova collects through this website, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what you can ask us to do with it. It is written to be read, not to be skimmed past — if anything here is unclear, contact us and we will explain it.

Who we are

Talent Network Kosova is a recruitment and executive search agency based in Prishtina. We are the data controller for the information described in this policy.

What we collect, and when

We only collect information you choose to send us through one of the forms on this site.

If you apply for a job or send us your CV

  • Your name, email address and phone number.
  • Where you are based, and the kind of role you are looking for, if you tell us.
  • Your CV, as a PDF or Word document.
  • Anything you write in the message field.
  • Which position you applied for, where you applied to a specific role.

If you contact us as an employer

  • Your company name, your name, your work email address and your phone number.
  • Details of the role: title, location or working model, experience and skills required, salary range, and how soon you need someone.
  • Anything you write in the notes field.

If you send us a general message

  • Your name and email address, and your phone number and company if you provide them.
  • The subject you select and the message you write.

Collected automatically

  • To stop automated abuse of our forms, we store a one-way scrambled version of your IP address for fifteen minutes. It cannot be read back as an IP address and is then discarded.
  • Our web server keeps standard access logs, which include IP addresses, for security and troubleshooting.
  • The jobs page briefly remembers which search field you were typing in, so the page can return you to it. This is stored in your own browser and removed as soon as it is used.
  • This site uses no analytics, advertising or social media tracking.

Our pages load typefaces from Google Fonts, which means Google receives your IP address in order to serve them. We do not send Google any other information about you.

Why we use it, and on what basis

We process this information under the Law on Protection of Personal Data of the Republic of Kosovo (Law No. 06/L-082), and under the EU General Data Protection Regulation where it applies to a role or client in the European Union. Our grounds are:

  • Your consent. You tick a box before sending any form, and you can withdraw that consent at any time.
  • Our legitimate interest in running a recruitment service: matching candidates to roles, replying to employer enquiries, and keeping records of the work we have done.
  • Legal obligations, such as accounting and tax records relating to client work.

We do not use your information to make automated decisions about you. A recruiter reads every application, and every decision about a shortlist is made by a person.

Who we share it with

  • Talent Network recruiters. Only our own staff can open your CV, and only after signing in to our system.
  • The employer for a specific role. We share your CV and details with a client employer only when you have agreed to that particular role. We do not circulate CVs speculatively, and we do not pass your name to an employer without your agreement.
  • Service providers who run our website hosting and email. They act on our instructions and may not use your information for their own purposes.

We do not sell your personal information, and we never have.

Sending information outside Kosovo

Some of the employers we recruit for are based outside Kosovo, including in the European Union. Where a role is with one of those employers, your CV and details are transferred to them — but only for a role you have agreed to be put forward for, and on the condition that they use the information for that role alone. If you would rather we did not share your details outside Kosovo, tell us and we will only put you forward for roles based here.

How long we keep it

We keep your CV and contact details on file until you ask us to delete them. We do this so that we can consider you for roles that open up after you first get in touch, which is the main reason candidates send us a speculative CV.

You can ask us to delete your information at any time, for any reason, and you do not need to give one. Send us a message, or write to jobs@talentnetwork-ks.com, and we will remove your CV and details and confirm once it is done, within 30 days. We review our candidate records periodically and remove information we no longer have a reason to hold.

How we look after it

This site is served over an encrypted connection. Uploaded CVs are stored outside the public area of the website under randomised filenames, so they cannot be reached by guessing a web address, and they can only be opened by authorised Talent Network staff who are signed in. Access to our recruitment records is limited to the people who need it to do their work.

Your rights

In relation to your personal information, you have the right to:

  • ask for a copy of what we hold about you;
  • have anything inaccurate corrected;
  • ask us to delete it;
  • ask us to restrict how we use it, or object to us using it;
  • receive it in a portable format so you can take it elsewhere;
  • withdraw your consent at any time, which stops any further use that relied on it.

To use any of these rights, send us a message or write to jobs@talentnetwork-ks.com. We will reply within 30 days. Exercising these rights is free, and it will not affect how we treat you as a candidate.

If you are not satisfied

Please raise it with us first — most issues are quickest to fix directly. If you are still unhappy, you have the right to complain to the Information and Privacy Agency of the Republic of Kosovo (Agjencia për Informim dhe Privatësi), which supervises data protection in Kosovo.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Where a change is significant and affects information we already hold about you, we will contact you directly.
