Senior Software Engineer – Cloud Platform

Its products are used worldwide by more than 1,400 customers in the mechanical and plant engineering sectors, as well as by hidden champions across various industries.

Currently, our Partner is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to take a leading role in the Cloud Platform Team — the backbone of its SaaS products.

• Own the architecture and long-term direction of our Partner’s core platform services, covering Kubernetes, AWS infrastructure, cloud security, and developer experience.
• Design and build scalable, production-grade platform capabilities using Infrastructure-as-Code, including container orchestration, multi-tenant security, observability, and self-service tooling.
• Shape the platform strategy for agentic AI workloads, ensuring secure deployment, isolation, monitoring, governance, and cost transparency.
• Own platform reliability through SLOs, incident response, blameless post-mortems, and continuous improvements in performance and cost efficiency.
• Drive engineering standards and architectural decisions across teams while identifying systemic bottlenecks in technology, processes, and workflows.
• Mentor and technically lead engineers, contribute to hiring, and promote effective AI-augmented development and operations practices.

• 7+ years of experience building and operating cloud-native production systems, including 5+ years of hands-on AWS experience.
• Deep expertise in Kubernetes, distributed systems, and cloud infrastructure, with a strong focus on scalability, reliability, security, and observability.
• Advanced Infrastructure-as-Code skills, particularly with Terraform, and strong programming skills in Python, Go, Java, or C#.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD and modern release engineering practices such as progressive delivery, feature flags, and canary deployments.
• Proven experience securing and operating multi-tenant cloud environments, including zero-trust principles, least-privilege IAM, and secrets management.
• Experience building platform or infrastructure services for internal developer teams.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to drive technical decisions and build consensus across teams.
• A pragmatic approach to AI and its safe, measurable application in software engineering and operations.
• Familiarity with information security standards and compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001 and SOC 2 is a plus.
